February 17th, 2021: New ACOG eModule for the OUD Bundle
ACOG has released a new eModule, "Implementing the Obstetric Care for Women With Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Patient Safety Bundle". This module covers best practices in recognition and treatment strategies for OUD during obstetric care, including medication as therapy, also known as medication assisted therapy (MAT).

You will also learn to:

Leverage appropriate feedback frameworks and management considerations while providing obstetrics-related care to patients with OUD

Identify community stakeholders, resources, and indicated reporting and systems learning in the obstetric clinical setting
You do not need to be an ACOG member to access the module, but you do need to create an account on the ACOG website. Learners can earn a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for completion. There are currently no nursing CE Credits available, but AIM/ACOG is working to secure approval for these credits.
